Setting up your workspace
A few minutes of setup — sign in, timezone, goal, AI key, and your first leads — makes everything else in RelkoAI accurate.
Quick answer
Sign in with Google, set your timezone (the step that controls follow-up timing), set your annual GCI goal, optionally connect an AI key, and add your active leads with a stage, source, and next follow-up date.
Most of RelkoAI's setup isn't cosmetic — it directly controls whether your follow-ups fire on the right day and whether your goal tracking reflects reality. Ten careful minutes now saves confusion later. Here's the order we recommend.
1. Sign in with Google
RelkoAI uses Google sign-in, so there's no separate password to manage. Your name and email come from your Google account, and a private workspace is created for you. You can adjust your display details later in your profile.
2. Set your timezone (the step people miss)
This is the single most important setup step. RelkoAI decides what's due today and overdue based on your local day. Go to your profile and confirm your timezone is correct. RelkoAI tries to detect it from your browser the first time, but detection isn't perfect and won't follow you if you travel — so set it manually if needed. If your timezone is wrong, follow-ups can appear a day early or late.
3. Set your annual GCI goal
Open Goal Pacing on your Command Center and set your target gross commission income for the year. This powers the pacing view that tells you whether you're on track, ahead, or behind — and roughly how many more deals you need. Set a realistic target; the math is only useful if the goal reflects the year you're actually planning for. You can edit it any time.
4. Connect an AI key (optional)
The AI features use a bring-your-own-key model. If you want AI help, open your AI key settings and paste a key from a supported provider such as Google or OpenAI. Your key is stored encrypted, you pay your provider directly (typically a few cents per use), and you can disconnect any time. If you're not ready, skip this — everything else works without it.
5. Add your first real leads
Add your 5–15 most important active leads. For each, set the stage, the source, and a next follow-up date, and flag anyone genuinely high-priority as hot. Don't aim for a complete database on day one — a focused set will start powering Today's Actions immediately.
Do those five things and RelkoAI stops being an empty app and becomes a working command center that tells you tomorrow morning exactly who to follow up with.
Steps / Key takeaways
- Set your timezone correctly — it controls what counts as due today and overdue.
- Set an annual GCI goal to power goal pacing.
- Connecting an AI key is optional; RelkoAI works fully without it.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to connect an AI key?
No. AI is optional. The command center, pipeline, Today's Actions, tasks, calendar, and reports all work without a key.
Why does timezone matter so much?
RelkoAI decides what is due today and overdue based on your local day, so a wrong timezone makes follow-ups appear a day early or late.
